Access for Disabled Patients

The premises are easily accessible for wheelchair users, with all consulting and treatment rooms, and bathroom on the ground floor.

Baby Changing

A baby changing facility is provided. 

Baby Feeding

The practice is ‘breast-feeding friendly’.  A private area can be provided upon request; please ask at reception.

Bathrooms

There are separate bathrooms for males, females and disabled persons.

Car Park

We have a large car park with designated spaces for the disabled.  There is also an overflow car park (Community Centre) accessible by a short flight of steps.

Choose & Book

Following referral by a doctor or nurse, your hospital appointment can be booked for you at a time and place of your choice that is convenient for you, by practice staff.

Delivery of Medication

A delivery service for medications is provided by the practice.  Please see separate section regarding Dispensary Services. 

Dispensary

The on-site dispensary can dispense medications for patients who have approved dispensing status.

Dosett Boxes

The dispensary can provide medication in a dosett box at the request of the doctor.  This is a device which assists patients take their medications correctly.  Please see separate section regarding Dispensary Services.

Health Promotion Literature

A wide range of literature is available in the waiting room and at the end of the corridor; patients may help themselves or ask for assistance.

Hearing Induction Loop

This hearing aid facility is available upon request.

Translation Service

Some notice may be required in order to arrange a translation service; please ask at reception for details.

Wheelchairs

The practice has wheelchairs for patient use on the surgery premises.
